Dedication

The “Moose And The Snowman” series is dedicated to my granddaughter, Sarah K, who brings so much joy into my life. At the ages of three and four, she was the inspiration for many of the story creations. Boo, I will walk with you forever.

I would like to acknowledge a few people, without whom the “Moose” series would not exist.

As I sat comfortably among a small group of acquaintances, two members of the group were introduced to me as, Jacob “Moose”, and Leonard “Snowman”. The two, being acquaintances, I jokingly commented that their names sounded like the title of a children’s book, “Moose And The Snowman”. Another person, Joseph “Jody”, immediately commented,” Yeah, somebody should write that.” To that, I replied, “All we need is a story idea, and I could do that.” So began the challenge to create a simple story about a moose and a snowman.

I would like to thank Jody for spending many hours discussing story ideas as one story became two, then three, then four. In the end, our simple challenge had grown into a set of 25 stories, which included  3 holiday stories. Thank you, Jody, Moose, and Snowman for being there at the beginning.
